John Pizzarelli Trio John Pizzarelli Presents "Dear Mr. Bennett"

John Pizzarelli is a celebrated guitarist and vocalist widely recognized for revitalizing the Great American Songbook and bringing classic jazz to new audiences. He has become one of today’s leading interpreters of American standards and praised by the Boston Globe for “reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz,” As Will Layman of Pop Matters notes, “Pizzarelli’s group pops,” capturing the energy and charm that define his performances. He will perform selections from his recent album Dear Mr. Bennett, which pays tribute to the legendary Tony Bennett, continuing Pizzarelli’s tradition of honoring the great vocalists and songwriters of American jazz.

Known for his warm, swinging style reminiscent of Nat King Cole, Pizzarelli often performs in a tight jazz‑trio format featuring his signature seven‑string guitar, piano, and upright bass. Over the course of his career, Pizzarelli has released more than 30 albums and hosted a weekly Facebook livestream.
